We are finally going to be dry enough to get up to the hog land.

but my shooting spot is going to be sitting vice normal prone, its a two person sit on ground tent blind.
my body is old and does not like to bend, i tried a few positions in the garage, leaning on the wall as it were a tree and trying to find a compromise for the knees.

did the leg open and bent method Texas parks and wildlife site demonstrates, but its still not a smooth move or provides for IMO fast adjustments of aim.

any suggestions for old less bendy dude would be appreciated

i thought i may take a small table to use in conjunction with my bi pod, but i have to carry it all in the 1/2 mile :geek:

If you don't already have them, get a box of the hot hands packet things. Put them in your pockets. The warmth may help with stiffness.

never thought about a portable seat with table.

i keep threatening to take my expedition and open the rear and lay there up off the ground, make him sit in the tent

I have this from Northern Tool.

It isn't collapsible, but it is larger with bigger wheels for "off road" type terrain.

My suggestion takes more effort but dragging an old recliner out there. Maybe a space heater. A TV and a small quiet generator to supply power. Some chips and salsa to snack on and you have everything required for blind hunting.

Don't forget the mini fridge! Might as well bring a stereo too for some music when there isn't anything on TV.
