I do a lot of fighting on social media regarding gun-rights - because 1) I refuse to let Commies have everything their own way and 2) hopefully convert some in the silent crowd who are looking. For that reason, I have a rather large list of snippets and links that I draw upon when countering the Left - and this one below is the latest addition:

Gun control was originally designed to keep black people and poor whites from owning guns. It has always been for the elites to own the guns to keep their place in society.

This is a not so easy read but interesting.

Why is it so hard for politicians to understand "shall not be infringed?"

Yep. Gun control was definitely done to keep blacks from owning guns. They liked to have had a fit when the black panthers started open carrying rifles in California back in the day. Leftist scum love ignoring their own history when they are busily race baiting.

And who signed that Mulford Act into law? California Gov. Ronald Reagan.

When I reply to constituents on almost any issue, I try to suss out where they're coming from, and respond in language they understand.

When it comes to gun rights, I don't care what their position is: I reply by quoting the Atlanta Declaration.

"Every man, woman, and responsible child has an unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right to obtain, own, and carry, openly or concealed, any weapon—rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything—any time, any place, without asking anyone's permission."

What do I miss about Texas? Most of the food, some of the people, absolutely none of the weather.

The really sad part was the support from the NRA of it.

I just consider the source and walk away. If they want to continue with it I tell them if you keep following me the rules are fixing to change. I'm not arguing with a dumb crap guy when he all ready has his mind made up. I don't agree I'll walk away, you pursue me, my a**holness comes out. Other than that, I'm a likeable guy... Most of the time. 😎
