Add another reason for me to never attend the State Fair.

Fair officials say nearly a year later, they still don't know how turner got the gun onto the fair property.

"We unfortunately may never know how the gunman got the gun inside the State Fair of Texas," Condoianis said. "After the investigation was completed, that has not been determined."

And you'll never know how the people who are already breaking the law will still get guns into the Fair. You have the same "director of security" whose policies and procedures couldn't prevent people who weren't licensed to carry from getting guns into the fair last year doubling down by changing the rules so no one is allowed to carry. I wonder what stupid rule he will have to implement next year after whatever incident happens this year.

Has anything changed in PC chapter 30? By my quick perusal, it still seems to say that banning anyone for lawful possession of a firearm does not apply on any property owned by a government entity.

Fair Park is still owned by the City of Dallas, undeniably a government entity.

There's no legal authority for that, so if it's true, it amounts to law-and-order pro-gun AG Paxton saying, "Go ahead and break the law; I won't do anything about it."

The same AG Paxton who sued the State Fair for barring off duty police from carrying guns.

A leftist Democrat judge who ran for office with backing from Soros. What other possible outcome could there be? I hope Paxton sues the State Fair into receivership.

Isn't the real problem that Paxton previously issued an opinion that supports the State Fair's position? He can't have it both ways.
