This guy is right where he belongs. I bet they had to drink a few before publishing that one.

I think the reason the left always tries to make us out to be untrustworthy with firearms, is because they are untrustworthy with firearms. They just assume everyone is as stupid as they are. JMHO

Not to defend this guy but there is no definition of brandishing in Texas law and this type of treatment of legitimate gun owners and non-fruitcakes has been going on as well. How many times has CJ Grisham and crew been arrested.

Agree, But assuming narrative is true, he should have kept it slung. Low ready would set the hairs on the back of my neck standing, and if someone thought he was starting to raise it, he easily could have ended up like the AntiFa thug with the AK in Austin shot by the off duty military rideshare driver. Hhhhmmmm...come to think of it, that might have been a preferred outcome.

Guess they arrested him to save him from himself?

It was a federal charge of "interstate threatening communications." The fed gov's stance toward citizens who refuse to bend to the socialist narrative has become "show me the man and I'll show you the crime."

So we can conclude that the newspaper article was clickbait as he was not convicted of any firearm violation and his firearm "brandishing" was completely legal. Not that I support the idiot but carrying a rifle in Texas is still legal.
