Wow. This was surprisingly strong. Good for the reform movement!

It's a start. Too bad so many of the old breed are still hanging on.

Insiders Reveal the Rot Within the NRA
Ammoland Inc. Posted on May 7, 2024 by John Crump

https://www.ammoland.com/2024/05/inside ... n-the-nra/

"One person who has questioned the NRA publicly was NRA Board member Willes Lee. Mr. Lee was in line to become the organization’s next President before questioning the NRA establishment. Several insiders told AmmoLand News that the NRA bylaws were changed to allow Charles Cotton to continue as President to avoid Lee from taking over the office. Many believe that the act was that of self-protection instead of protecting the NRA and Second Amendment rights of its members."

The reformers are asking questions. It remains to be seen if they will have enough clout.

Bill and Chuck's Excellent Adventure:

'“Any arrangements actually saved the NRA money – our firm does not charge clients additional costs for private travel.”

He didn't say that NRA isn't being charged for the flight--just that they aren't charging extra for Cotton to ride along on the flights. Given Brewer's past billing practices, I'm a little surprised.

Willes Lee aided and abetted everything until he was pushed aside. Screw him and his whining.

The NRA, unfortunately, has lost all credibility. Not even gonna waste my time going to the meeting here since it means I would have to join. The thought of my dues going to fund more corruption make me want to vomit.

We'll learn the NRA's fate soon enough, as the reformers show up at the Annual Meeting.

For director, I agree that Jim Wallace is da man.

Most Texas peeps might not know him, but GOAL (Jim is the director) is known throughout New England for being both principled and responsible with their money.
