but for those who want to save and restore the NRA
I’m not convinced that the NRA is worth saving. The current leadership appears to show no interest in anything other than enriching themselves and their attorneys.

The ammoland article sure makes that seem to be the case!

The more I look into this NRA mess, the more few things become apparent.
1. There’s shady, immoral and unethical dealing going on at NRA that is getting covered up left and right, rather than to throw the offenders out into their rear ends.
2. The members are being used to fund litigation that those “in the know” had fairly certain confidence would go nowhere. Buying time (literally) and create an illusion of doing “something” is all that was. They have some very smart lawyers there, I have zero doubt they knew going into this venture that the likelihood of “success” was very low (but hey, spend the members’ money they did indeed, without any input from the members, zero.).

The spin to turn bankruptcy into something good is malarkey that as someone mentioned before, only a lawyer can try to twist and sell. Utter garbage.

My opinion is that NRA, unless they swiftly address these big problems in a way that shows integrity, needs to dissolve. I have zero respect for the way they’ve treated their members and for the “leadership” conduct.

If I read that correctly, there's been issues with the NRA board and money for 2 decades?

Interesting letter. Worth a read.
Wayne LaPierre, Carolyn Meadows, Charles Cotton, Tom King, Marion Hammer, Scott Bach, Sandy Froman
Has Bloomberg/Everytown/Mom’s done nearly the damage to the NRA’s reputation as the names above?
