Cotton is just as culpable to the corruption as LaPierre. A post-trial NRA with any of the current leadership intact is still a corrupt organization.

Expecting his forum to soon experience a non-recoverable crash and disappear forever.

The anti-gun groups are cheering like they won something.

If anything, they saved the NRA.

Frank Tait:

The Delusion of the leadership continues. Charles Cotton’s recent letter to the board continues the delusion that this is a win for the NRA. Just like the $15M PAYMENT to AcMac was spun as a win to the board, while hiding the settlement agreement and the amount from the board (yeah right they have reformed), Cotton spins this as a win for the NRA since Wayne and Woody will repay about $6 million. Charles - YOU and the Special litigation committee have spent well over $200 million in legal fees to Brewer since 2019. And to remind you, the Special litigation committee takes no minutes and provides no visibility to the decisions or spending to the board (again, yeah right they have reformed).

NY Vs. NRA: Second Phase Of Trial Scheduled
https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/2024/ ... scheduled/
This is the to determine what remedy the judge should give, and the conflict is over appointment of a financial monitor. The judge has set the dates: July 1 for briefs, July 15 for trial, trial time two weeks. The last shows he’s taking matters VERY seriously!

This report indicates the judge is not inclined to appoint a monitor, and hopes that NRA will reform from within.
lol...the judge must not be paying attention...left as is, the leadership and board of the NRA will not reform with being pummeled into compliance.
