Pleading both ignorance and incompetence rarely bodes well for a highly-paid CEO.

NRA Lawsuit
How does that testimony get spinned positively by LaPierre’s enablers, protectors and fans?KBCraig wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 10:28 pm Pleading both ignorance and incompetence rarely bodes well for a highly-paid CEO.

So, he’s a busy man and doesn’t have time to be aware of all that…okay then can’t wait for the testimony of those underneath him who should have or did know all of things LaPierre was unaware of.
Woody Phillips pleading the 5th.
As an aside, "Objection to the form" is standard in depositions. It's how the lawyer objects to the question, without coaching his respondent how they should phrase their answer.
In this case, where Phillips was going to refuse to answer anything, I don't know why his lawyer bothered objecting.

What do I miss about Texas? Most of the food, some of the people, absolutely none of the weather.
Apparently a ransomware group is claiming to have hacked the NRA.

That might make it difficult for them to provide any documents under subpoena.

This explains a lot…..enemies inside your lines. No wonder the NRA is free falling…probably was the Democrat plans.Originally a Democrat, like a substantial portion of the National Rifle Association’s longest-serving staff, Wayne was active with the Roanoke Democrats in college but declined a job offer from the office of Democratic House Speaker Tip O’Neill.
Also explains him hiding on a yacht.bblhd672 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 10:51 pmKBCraig wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:55 pm An excerpt from a book that's about to be released.

Why is it so hard for politicians to understand "shall not be infringed?"

Leaders of the National Rifle Association (NRA) expressed concern that the organization's more radical members—who were described as "hillbillies" and "fruitcakes"—would embarrass the gun rights organization in the days following the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, according to tapes obtained by NPR and revealed on Tuesday.
Us hillbillies, rednecks, or whatever label they want to call us are too unsophisticated to understand that "shall not be infringed" actually does not mean "shall not be infringed." This is more evidence that the upper echelon of the NRA are nothing more than elitists.bblhd672 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 11:02 pm NRA Was Concerned 'Hillbilly' Members Would Embarrass Them After Columbine, Tapes Reveal
