Bill Bachenberg Elected NRA President as Group Rallies Behind New Leadership

ATLANTA, GA — In a major shift that’s being celebrated across the pro-Second Amendment community, Bill Bachenberg has been elected as the new President of the National Rifle Association (NRA). The decision was made by the NRA’s Board of Directors during their 2025 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, which drew over 70,000 members, families, and supporters to the Georgia World Congress Center.

Bachenberg, a successful Pennsylvania businessman and longtime NRA leader, steps into the role at a critical time. He previously served as First Vice President and was the national chairman of the 2020 “Sportsmen for Trump” coalition. In 2024, he also helped lead the NRA’s partnership with Hunter Nation on the widely praised “Hunt The Vote” initiative.

“I’m proud of the enduring spirit of the millions of NRA members who have stood strong with the organization through the challenges of recent years,” Bachenberg said. “I’m humbled to help lead the NRA into a future we can all take pride in.”

Bachenberg’s election is being widely seen as a move to restore focus and momentum at the NRA. Hunter Nation, a top grassroots hunting advocacy group, called it “a huge win for hunters across the country.”
Donald Trump Jr., who sits on the Hunter Nation Board, said the appointment is “a positive, and much needed step in the right direction for the NRA.”

Ted Nugent, Hunter Nation board member and outspoken 2A advocate, praised the move: “The election of Bill Bachenberg is proof that the NRA’s 2.0 strategy is in the best hands possible, and the mighty NRA is back on a True North path!”

Hunter Nation Chairman Rock Bordelon added, “America needs a strong and active NRA. Bill Bachenberg is the right person to get the NRA back on track.”
Menachem Begin to Joe Biden (1982): I Am Not A Jew With Trembling Knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history.

Marion Hammer Sues NRA
https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/2025/ ... -sues-nra/
There have been rumors of this for months, but yesterday it finally happened. Here is the complaint https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/wp-co ... plaint.pdf. An interesting allegation in paragraph 27: in 2018, a Brady Campaign attorney offered her $5 million to retire.

The other allegations: (1) breach of contract, in refusing to pay out under her ten-year contract; (2) continuing to use her image, etc., in fundraising, without her permission; (3) fraud, in that they solicited donations from her which were to go to NRA Foundation, for the Women’s Leadership Forum, but were in fact deposited to NRA’ s account.
With numerous lawsuits still pending, including a RICO case, the NRA is far from out of danger.

NRA is finished. Get your popcorn and watch the death throes of a once noble organization. Congrats to WLP's cabal for finding a way through lawfare to complete the destruction of the organization.

More dirt as Lisa Supernaugh sues for wrongful termination.

As someone who works in HR, I have to point out that she messed up by agreeing to have the firing documents "upgraded" to "voluntary resignation". Never do that. If you're being fired, make them say it. This also protects your rights to unemployment insurance.

I've never worked in HR (I'm retired now). My experience is that when a company wants to get rid of you, they'll pay you a severance in return for an agreement not to sue them. I wonder if the agreement to "upgrade" her termination came with an agreement not to sue. Regardless, it doesn't seem like she has a very good case to me, just comparing it to my experiences. But, good luck to her anyway.

I had the same thoughts when I read the post. She better have documentation showing she was fired, as well as documentation of her whistle blowing activities. Even then, her chances of success seem to be limited since she agreed to voluntary resignation.

That being said, the new lawsuits that keep getting filed are going to continue to drain the NRA of money. Even with the old guard dismissed, the NRA's future looks very bleak.
