This is an aerial view. Even with all the backup, this officer was basically one on one for a full magazine plus some shoot out. This shows even with lots of police seconds away, the gun in your hand is better than waiting on the police.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Minutes after Omar Cueva shot and killed New Mexico State Police Officer Darian Jarrott along Interstate 10, he called an undercover agent with Homeland Security Investigations to tell him he had been pulled over by the police. Cueva told the agent he "did not give them a chance" and still wanted to meet up to sell the agent 5 pounds of methamphetamine.

Meanwhile, the agent received word that an officer had been killed.

A ranking agent with HSI told State Police investigators he knew there was a plan to have State Police pull over Cueva between Deming and Las Cruces "if the opportunity came." If not, the 39-year-old would have been busted by multiple HSI agents in armored vehicles when he met up to sell the meth.

There's a big deal about the Department of Homeland inSecurity not revealing all the details about this guy to the police but they wanted the police to pull him over. Apparently the slain officer's wife is suing the feds for sending her husband into an ambush. The guy was dangerous enough to bust him in armored cars but they wanted regular police officers to pull him over? I don't want to second guess the policeman's actions but there's a lot that went wrong with this.

wholly bat mobile, the feds used a guy that was a known EVIL *&^& and wanted a local to pull him over......WHY ? were the feds trying to set up a policeman or was there some other nefarious crap going on?
