Re: Voters must consider eight amendments to the Texas Constitution November 2nd
I have a very negative opinion regarding amendments to the Texas Constitution. I believe amendments should be treated like hall of fame inductees, and only those things which are most important, and "no brainers" should go in. Amending the Constitution, should be more than a popularity con...

Re: NRA Lawsuit
Sounds like being the legal firm of record for the NRA is a pretty sweet gig.

Re: Much Ado about nothing: Constitutional Carry
KBCraig, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how devastating that must have been for you and your family. But I am uplifted, by the fact that even in such a tragedy, you realized that the inanimate object, was not the culprit behind your son's death. Texas still has a long way to go, to bec...

Re: Much Ado about nothing: Constitutional Carry
Every time, Texas, has "loosened" their gun laws, ( I detest that term, since, no "law" ever unrestricted anything, they only restrict) The gun grabbers predict doom and gloom. When CHL was approved, there was going to be shoot outs, blood in the streets, and police would not be ...

Re: NRA Lawsuit
Yeah, I'm not sure where the NRA thinks this will lead. Reshuffling the deck, and re-dealing the same cards, doesn't change the final count, or even give anyone a better chance of getting a better hand. Evidently, the NRA, is so invested, in keeping the status quo, that they don't even care about th...

Re: 30.05/Gunbuster signs are now supported
My fav liquor store still has TABC Blue signs up, probably going to take a while. I haven't kept up with this so much since I do have a license. However, has the TABC changed their policy? Also, IIRC, that sign really applies to the store and the store would be the one fined, no? I may have that ba...

Re: SMITH & WESSON BRANDS, INC. TO RELOCATE HEADQUARTERS AND OTHER MAJOR OPERATIONS TO TENNESSEE
I look for this trend to continue with other firearms manufacturers. Kimber moved a lot of their manufacturing to Alabama. Henry Rifles, are also being manufactured in Wisconsin. I would expect Ruger to move their headquarters from Connecticut. They already have manufacturing plants in other States....

Yeah, my last renewal took exactly 11 days from submission to plastic in hand. Like you I guess they don't keep real close tabs, on all of my "activities"

Re: Deliberately uncover a firearm if being harassed?
I OC 99% of the time. I CC at church, or during the winter, when a coat or jacket covers my gun. I will cover if entering a place posted 30.07. My reasons? Comfort. Trying to “dress around my gun” is more cumbersome for me. Strogg’s point was well made. I avoid places where I believe my chances of h...

Clearly a legal gun owner:  Woman leans out passenger window with AK-47 in San Francisco https://www.foxnews.com/us/woman-leans-car-ak47-san-francisco Maybe she was a graduate to Ridgeline's "Tactical Mobility" course. :D This is in my district: driving rally cars and shooting is jus...
