Re: Link to Texas Legislature bills filed for 2021 - Weapons
If I am reading this correctly, this may be one of my favorite bills filed in the senate this session; https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/87R/billtext/html/SB00546I.htm I will need to finish my coffee, but isn't this exactly what we have been pushing for? Basically, that LTC is legal, wherever alcoh...

Re: The Power of Presidential Executive Orders
Gold isn’t a protected constitutional amendment. It doesn’t mean that a sitting presidential executive order can’t or wouldn’t wreck havoc on our rights, but there are a lot more legalities in firearms vs gold. Actually, this is 100% allowed by the Constitution for property in general. The reason t...

Re: Kimber's VP is a Butter
I respect that gentleman's first amendment rights. I agree with him that firearms safety is important. I respectfully disagree with him on his other points. Albeit persuasive, he neglects to address any other existing laws that keeps things safe. For example, I'm no scholar, but I'm pretty sure Mont...

I too feed feral cats. Fortunately, there's no colony of them around here. I've only seen two so far. I caught the first one back in September and got it TNRed. He's been coming back every night since. The other unfortunately I couldn't get TNRed because it was Christmas week when it fell for the tr...

Re: Looks like TexasCHLForum may be coming back!
Personally, I think it was some sort of major software/hardware failure. All the rest of the reasons I am reading here seem a little on the conspiracy side of things. Hell, maybe it was some sort of major corruption issue. I don't know squat about computers but it is what I think. Wait... Are you s...

Yes, if I am not mistaken the forum is ran on a dedicated server plan from VirtBiz. Dedicated servers can be a good deal, but you are responsible for your own maintenance and administration if you don't pay for a managed service plan of some sort (which can be expensive), and you will also be down ...

Re: Looks like TexasCHLForum may be coming back!
Do we know if it might have been affected by the NRA bankruptcy? I don’t see how. It looks to be a SQL error; if it was a server going offline there wouldn’t be anything there to generate the error. It’s probably something that’s misconfigured, or a failing hard drive or something that’s corrupting...
