Re: Constitutional Hearings
Here's the response I rec'd from my Democrat lawyer representative. I found it to be a waste of a good email: Thank you for writing me to share your support for House Bill 1927, which would eliminate any requirement that individuals obtain professional instructional in the safe handling of their la...

Re: Constitutional Hearings
Part of the problem is some of the amendments have nothing to do with permitless carry. As a result, it MAY cause the bill to suffer a point of order in the house as not being germane. If so, it could potentially kill the legislation due to house rules. Hopefully this can be resolved. I missed some...

Re: Form 4473-5300-9
Frankly I don't see this as a substantive change. FFL requirements are the same, and the info was always there. Rearranging doesn't really make any difference. And the ATF still doesn't retain the info. I don’t trust the feds to do anything, without a hidden agenda in mind. As you said, all of the ...

Re: Constitutional Hearings
The bill passed the Senate with several amendments. Now it goes back to the house to see if those are acceptable. If the house concurs now, then it goes to the governor. If the house doesn't concur, the bill goes to a conference committee to work out the difference, then to both houses for approval...

Been trying to watch it live, but I am having trouble listening to supposed learned people, spouting such stupidity. Here is the link, if you're interested.

Re: Constitutional Hearings
Constitutional carry bills to be heard in the Senate this week. Below is the copy of an email I got from GOA. as well as an article listing a poll of State Senators for and against the bill. Gun Owners of America Texas Constitutional Carry has a Senate Hearing this Thursday! Constitutional Carry, HB...
