Re: State Leadership(or lack thereof)
Further more, I think he has been a friendly voice for gun owners over all. https://www.kcbd.com/2021/02/09/gov-greg-abbott-positions-texas-second-amendment-sanctuary-state/ In his State of the State address last week, Gov. Greg Abbott said, “Texas must be a Second Amendment sanctuary state.” If he...

Re: Winter weather 2021
I witnessed a truck with a rope over the tailgate, tied to a flat bottom boat, pulling their kids down the snow covered road. I honestly don't know if this is genious and I'm jealous, or if I was appalled at the stupidity of some people. Little help here. Cuz that kinda sounds fun?? We did somethin...

Re: Deliberately uncover a firearm if being harassed?
Hello! Forgive me if this has been asked before.. If I am in legal concealed carry, and find myself being verbally harassed in public, what are the legal ramifications of intentionally revealing my firearm? Not touching it, or saying anything threatening but just casually moving my jacket aside, wh...

87th Legislature Committee Assignments
It looks like the Senate committee assignments have been made and published. Does anyone know how long it usually takes before the House announces committee assignments? It looks like the House will be ‘working’ today, but the Senate is done for the next 2 weeks. House: Recessed until Wed, Jan 27, 2...

Re: impeachment this week or not
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t there a subtle issue that for them to impeach Trump and for it to stick, he actually has to be a sitting President. Right now, he’s just a private citizen, so that will be another constitutional hurdle. Not to mention the clearly partisan “presiding officer” rath...

Re: Do Not Attend Armed Rally at State Capitol
Every 2nd amendment supporter needs to be yelling from the rooftops condemning armed rallies right now. If we’re not actively condemning it, it will be seen as tacit support.

Didn’t get by here yesterday, and missed this notice. When I stopped by earlier, my heart nearly stopped....not another one.

Re: Reloading stuff
I'd suggest going to http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/rifle and plugging in your caliber along with the various bullet weights (and the powders you have) just so you can get an idea of the recommended load-data. Reloading is just one step at a time and isn't very hard at all if you think safely...

Re: Reloading stuff
I’ve recently started (or restarted) down the reloading path. I bought a single stage press (kit) in 2017 (Happy birthday to me kinda thing), and then I just did nothing with it. Since the beginning of November (totally unrelated to the election), I have managed to get my hands on a set of dies for ...

Additionally, I heard that a total of 4 people have died as a result of yesterday’s events.
