Re: State Leadership(or lack thereof)

I agree with your general sentiment of Governor Abbott. I can see why a lot of people may dislike him. He really blew the wuhuflu handling. His renewable stance is pretty bad in hindsight, but it looks like he's turning around. He has definitely done some questionable things. If we look at his histo...

Re: DFW Far West Breakfast - 4th Saturday

Reminder, the 4th breakfast is this Saturday 2/27 8AM. sia and I will be there. Is the location Rudy's in Arlington, or is it out in Weatherford? This is out near Weatherford. The restaurant is Sunny Street Cafe, 229 Shops Blvd Ste 103, Willow Park. I certainly hope you can make it out. I've always...

Re: 100 year freeze VS Bugging out

I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed just how precarious our food supplies are. Even in my rural area, people went crazy stocking up. Several of the stores were still basically empty on Monday because they could not get enough truckloads in to make up for the delay. So, when the societ...

Re: What I learned during Snowmaggedon

:D Definitely We never lost power or water. I didn’t leave the house from Saturday evening until Friday. I don't think I could do that at all. I'd suffer from ludicrous levels of cabin fever. I ended up driving around a bit last week. It's nice to have off-road capable tires and a little something ...

Re: What I learned during Snowmaggedon

I strictly carry plastic when it's freezing. Metal framed guns get really cold. It ain't comfy, especially if a shirt gets accidentally...
