Re: Kimber's VP is a Butter

Re: Ammo Shortage/Range Time

What concerns me most is that with everyone clammed up, the ranges will start folding soon... gun and ammo sellers should be sitting on big bank accounts from selling 3 years worth of stuff last year but the ranges need recurring business to stay open.

Huh?

I don't think the 3006 forum was a stopgap- I think (Russell- correct me if I'm wrong) that it is a stand alone forum and only the timing may have been impacted by the chlforum crash.

Re: How many of your LTC family members EDC?

I carry daily. My wife was a "almost never carries" but events of last summer have her carrying more, with a desire to train and carry even more. She likes to take me shopping so she doesn't have to carry. ...lol Son is still many years away. Mother in law is carrying more these days as we...

Re: Special group recognition?

While I genuinely appreciate your hard work and enthusiasm, getting this forum up and running I'm already in the less equal than some category. I'd prefer to just be one of the members.

As noted instructors and the like can use sig lines to ID or link to their stuff.

Re: DC Capitol building breached

Question was really just if anyone knew what the LEO's were doing or not doing, since they didn't seem to be after anyone and were abnormally calm for a shooting taking place a few feet from them.

Just seemed odd.

Re: DC Capitol building breached

I usually try to avoid early calls on this sort of thing, but if you view that one frame-by-frame, it appears she was breaching the upper half of the door when he moved in and shot. Yes, unarmed. Yes, a veteran. But many times on our forums we say “unarmed can still be lethal”. We rightfully justif...

Re: Ammo Shortage/Range Time

Inadvertently, yes. I reload and do have ammo/components but the thought of an extended drought has caused me to cut back a bit, out of an abundance of caution.
