Re: Any Family Members Opposed to LTC?

I'm in the minority in my extended family. Most of the rest beyond my parents and grandfather would be aghast that I would possess such killing tools let alone dare carry them in public. :)

Re: Looks like TexasCHLForum may be coming back!

I'll be sticking around here....three minutes over there and I'm already aggravated at the usual postings making it like TexasCNNforum. If I want to read all the news sites that are nothing but socialist propaganda outlets I would go to those sites. Russell and his team have built a nice place here...

Re: Anyone carry a switchblade knife?

I don't currently EDC a knife but I've thought about finding an assisted opening or automatic knife that could serve the many utility needs I often run into. I'll look over some of the models recommended here.

How is Blade HQ for a vendor? Any other dedicated knife vendors y'all would recommend?

Re: Looks like TexasCHLForum may be coming back!

When I started to login after seeing Pawpaw's post, I got a notification from my Antivirus Setup that: "An attempt to send your password unencrypted, in plain text, was prevented on this page. View more details in the Notifications area of your Bitdefender security solution." I have never...

I agree, that is pretty surprising. I've been spending too much of my professional life in cloud services these days so maybe that colors my expectations.

Re: .41 Magnum

Thanks for the discussion. As to why .41 vs .44, I'm not looking to limit myself. I have a Ruger .44 Carbine so I would eventually like a Model 29 as well but I just find the .41 interesting. I really like shooting 10mm, especially in a revolver, so .41 seems like a natural extension of that. As usu...

Re: One Hand Shooting - Why?

I find shooting one handed reduces my flinching for some reason. I mix it in most range trips.

That and I’m pretending to be a bullseye shooter. :)

Re: "New Posts" button

Russell was kind enough to add the theme after I had requested it. Of course now that I'm using the default again, I kind of like it more. Just took some getting used to.
