I agree, best thing would have been to stay in the car. I wanted to make sure I got license plate number and I initially thought he wasn’t going to stop after he hit us. It was absolutely crazy.

I took my LTC course online a week ago last Tuesday, did the range qualification and fingerprints Thursday, submitted everything Friday morning. I received my LTC yesterday. Crazy fast, 6 business days.

It's not on your side of town but Saddle River Range on 1488 has range qualifications every couple of weeks for people that specifically took their LTC course online. That's how I did mine and you can sign up online. They have an excellent indoor range and the instructor was great also.
