Re: NRA Lawsuit

Cotton assumes they lose the verdict, and move on to the penalty phase. https://nraindanger.wordpress.com/2024/02/18/ny-vs-nra-charles-cotton-letter-to-board/ Cotton is just as culpable to the corruption as LaPierre. A post-trial NRA with any of the current leadership intact is still a corrupt orga...

Re: How to prevent suicide with a firearm? (World Series ad)

Ponder the following, grasshoppers.. - if it's your gun, your safe, and your ammo and you really want to proceed, locked up and separate is only going to delay you a few minutes - if God and gov't grant/recognize your inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; philosophically ...

How to prevent suicide with a firearm? (World Series ad)

I've been watching the World Series and have noticed a "gun safety" ad has played several times. In the ad, a guy becomes suicidal. His wife talks him out of committing suicide with his firearm and the voice-over urges us to keep our firearms locked in a safe, unloaded, and away from any a...

Re: NRA Lawsuit

My 5-year membership expired several months ago. I got numerous emails begging for money for awhile, but now I get nothing from them. Good!

Re: NRA Lawsuit

However, this article only lays out "what" was spent without context as to "why" or "how it was in furtherance of the NRAs mission", or conversely "how it was a boondoggle/ embezzlement of funds". It only provides enough info for us to draw our own conclusion...

Re: NRA Lawsuit

How many of the people in "that other forum" would be less supportive of NRA/LaPierre/Cotton if they took the time to read these depositions? A publicly held company that did business like the NRA would have all of its leadership and board fighting to stay out of jail. I've been having th...

Re: NRA Lawsuit

Another tidbit from the link: It’s hard to see the 152-year old organization still being alive through 2023. I wonder if anyone is tracking increases in revenue for other 2A organizations and comparing them, side-by-side, with decreases in NRA revenue. In the current anti-gun political environment, ...

I'm wondering how long before the cow dies. Declining revenues, increasing legal fees, no involvement in current gun issues...

Re: No guns signage law changes

I read the linked document and I thought it said that signage requirements for LTCs have not changed. Did I miss something? What you missed is the change that adds the word OR and then specifies a new sign with just one line saying no firearms allowed here or words to that effect and has a gunbuste...
